This my contribution to Dan Antion’s Thursday Doors Photo Challenge. I took this photo last summer when I hiked on the Zirbenweg (Swiss Pine trail). The hike is very easy but offers breathtaking views of Innsbruck and the Nordkette mountains.
One enters the trail through a gate of naturally grown Swiss pine wood. It is not really a door but a suitable and beautiful gateway, so I hope the picture will qualify for this challenge.

If you would like to know more about the Zirbenweg, please look here.
Always looking forward to your feedback.

I like that a lot. I could see something similar by our cabin in Wyoming, although we’ll never make one. 🙂 And of course I love the view!!

Gates are always welcome. Open doors are the best. I love the view up the path I’m guessing you had wonderful views of those mountains as you hiked. Thanks for sharing this with Thursday Doors .
