Yesterday, I passed „Karlsplatz“ aka „Stachus“, a renown square in the Munich Old Town. There, I remembered the challenge Patti has set this week. First, I took a shot of the Karlstor from afar with the fountain in the foreground, then moved closer to show the Gate leading into the main shopping area of the Old Town (Neuhauser/Kaufinger Straße) and finally took a picture from below with the pigeons resting on the battlements of the Historic Building. To see how the character of the Karlstor changed with the different perspectives was very fascinating.
The photos were taken with my mobile.
This is for Patti’s inspirational LAPC „One Subject Three Ways“ Challenge.
Always looking forward to your feedback.

I remember this square when we were in Munich in June. A great choice for the challenge. The 3 different photos really give us a more complete picture of the square. I especially like the one with the water spray. Glad you joined us!
