Recently, I spent three days in Nürnberg where I saw wonderful Street Art (post to follow) and wandered around the Old Town with many historic doors. Some seemed over-decorated to me, didn’t suit my taste, but in a certain sense they were still beautiful. And I just loved this dog lying in front of one door!

I love how doors can tell a story, and Nürnberg’s certainly have character! Some may be ornate, but they definitely add to the city’s charm. And that dog in front of the door—such a perfect touch! Looking forward to your Street Art post next!

These are beautiful doors. A bit ornate, but the craftsmanship is wonderful. I do like the photo with the dog best.
