Yesterday, I passed „Karlsplatz“ aka „Stachus“, a renown square in the Munich Old Town. There, I remembered the challenge Patti has set this week. First, I took a shot of the Karlstor from afar with the fountain in the foreground, then moved closer to show the Gate leading into the main shopping area of the Old Town (Neuhauser/Kaufinger Straße) and finally took a picture from below with the pigeons resting on the battlements of the Historic Building. To see how the character of the Karlstor changed with the different perspectives was very fascinating.

Yesterday, I visited the fabulous exihibition JR: Chronicles at Hypo Kunsthalle in the Munich City Center. Extremely fascinating art!

And on my way around Odeonsplatz and Wittelsbacher Platz I saw more beautiful doors and gates.
