Reconstructing the Rouen Cathedral

The crossing tower of the famous Rouen Cathedral in Normandy is 151 m high. This makes the church the tallest in France. The top of the tower was clad in cast iron in the 19th century after a fire. Currently, the tower is being renovated.

This is my contribution today to Becky‘s Squares Renew.

Reconstructing the Rouen Cathedral was first published on Wanderlustig.

  1. That was a shame. The facade of the cathedral is very beautiful. I even found the spot where Monet painted the series of the cathedral (post to follow).
